WELCOME TO SUN/MOON YOGA
 
 
Yoga practice balances the Sun and Moon energy channels within - so that we can experience our own inner light.
This is not a style of yoga - there are many practices from which to choose - each according to your own temperament. This is a context for yoga practice in which we listen to the wisdom of the body and follow the impulse of energy flow (prana). If anything, this Sun/Moon yoga is reflected by Patanjali in chapter 2 of the Yoga Sutras: "a burning desire for self-realization, self-study, and surrender constitute the yoga of action". That is, we invest ourselves fully into practice, reflect on the changes that result, and offer up our lives as a prayer. We also move from structured practice toward more intuitive practice during class, and over the course of a lifetime. It can lead to a wonderful combination of inner strength and surrender, and a rich opportunity for personal insight.
Yoga harmonizes body, mind and spirit. It transforms us. Anyone can experience this.

As the mind becomes more quiet, we have a deeper communion with our own spirit...
we realize that this same spirit dwells in everyone and everything...
and we begin to respond to the call of humanity and realize our own calling to serve. We're all one family.

Doing The Dance, The Dance of Peace...
