Hands-on adjustments - Please tell me if you do not want to receive hands-on adjustments.
I don't do a lot of adjustments but I want everyone to feel comfortable.
Illness/injuries - Please tell me of any physical limitations you have. Take responsibility for your
safety. You have full permission to rest as much as you need and to work at your own level. There may be students sitting
on the floor or in chairs the entire class, or doing only breath work or restorative/relaxation postures. We all have
different needs.
Come early - If you want individual help or just to talk. I may be able to offer suggestions to help
with illness and injuries. You can get more from your experience by coming early to warm up or to relax and have quiet time.
Props - We have yoga props. You can bring your own mat if you like but it is not essential.
Take ownership - This is your class. Bring in requests, questions, sharing. It will enrich
everyone's experience.
Sangha/outings - This is more than a class - it is a group of like-minded spirits. Come on the
quarterly outings and invite friends. It helps to create community and support for all.
Website - Read the website. It's rich with information and support and is updated often. Updates
are listed on the home page. The current newsletter is posted on the website in case you are not on the mailing list.
Mailing list - Join the email list to receive announcements and newsletters. There is an archive
on the website for past newsletters if you have missed some of them. And each newsletter has new links to other yoga
sites. I have reviewed and selected each website for it's content.
Taxes - Classes may be tax deductible under medical expenses. Check with your tax consultant.
Support - You are welcome to call or email me for contact /questions/support: 624-6437.
