Born Oct. 1st, raised in L.I. New York.
1970 joined David Peel's band as a professional backup singer.

1977 Graduted BFA Cum Laude from Maryland
Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Began working as an advertising artist for a Maryland Dept. store, and as a singer
in a local Baltimore band.
1979 NYC joined Walter Steding's band ( which was managed by Andy Warhol ) as a
backup singer and guitarist.
"At this time I was a part of the vibrant Downtown NYC art and music scene, also
did runway and magazine modeling."
1980's Appeared in the film "Downtown '81" with friends Jean Michel Basquiat,
Walter Steding, Glenn O'Brien, Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, etc.
Appeared in Andy Warhol's video "Secret Spy",
and regularly on Glenn O'Brien's "TV Party".
Studied Jazz, and African Dance in NYC.
"In an
advanced Jazz Dance class - during the cooldown, the teacher gave us Yoga poses. It felt wonderful. I wanted to try Yoga,
and asked the other students about taking Yoga classes. One student suggested I try Integral Yoga, as I lived nearby. As soon
as I began to take classes there, I knew this was for me."
"All my life people told me I'd make a good teacher,
Yoga was something I felt was important to teach - as a relief system for myself and fellow stressed out New Yorkers."

1988 Certified by Integral Yoga to teach beginners Yoga.
"I had the honor of being asked to join the
teaching staff of Integral Yoga upon graduating from the teacher training program."
1989 Completed Certification
programs to teach Intermediate level ll, and Advanced Level lll Integral Yoga. Began teaching fulltime in private practice,
and in studios and Health Clubs throughout NYC.
1990's Completed AFAA Certification to teach Dance and
fitness. Traveled to Senegal West Africa to study African Dance and teach Yoga. Studied dance in Jamaica West Indies with
professional Caribbean Dance troupe. Studied Yoga, and Danskinetics with Dan Leven at Kripalu.
2004 Created
Yoga/Dance program with colleague and friend Supriya Swerdlick.
2008 - 2009 Lotus Palm School Thai Yoga Body work
1 & 2 certification
