Back at Work
So, I'm back at work and back to a regular schedule. And not only do I have my work to catch up with, but a lot more work
added on! I'll be glad when I'm at the point where I'm working on just the new items! But I will say, it makes the day go
by fast! But I have been running in the morning, the gym a few nights a week and then just a bit of reading. It's so hot out
and the day a bit tiring (as compared to being home on vacation and not doing much!)that I haven't done a lot of reading.
A lot of puzzle work, but not much else!

Back from Laughlin
So, we did end up going away for four days. We picked Laughlin since we have never been there, it's fairly close and fairly
cheap! The trip was nice though. The city is smaller than I thought it would be, but just as hot as I expected! And the crowd
is a lot older as well. I did miss the hustle of Vegas, the shows and watching people. But, I didn't miss the prices! And
the buffet (free wine with lunch and dinner at our hotel) was pretty good and pretty cheap! The nickel machines were fun and
the free drinks at the casinos were full sized drinks - not like the thimble I last got at the Orleans hotel in Vegas! Plus,
we spent the days reading, going to the classic car museum, shopping at the outlet mall and going to see a ghost town in Arizona.
I was pleased about that because I wanted to spend some time in Arizona (not just driving through) and I got to try Indian
Fry bread that my husband has told me about :-) Plus, on the drive there and back we listened to a book on tape and I was
able to finish making the chemo hat that I needed to finish. Now to just get in the mood to go to work on Monday :-(
