More projects!
I've been working on some projects and making some good progress! I've updated some pictures and my progress on the table
to the right. But I also have a baby sweater that I'm almost done with that I haven't taken a picture of yet. I finished the
front and back (that was done together) and one sleeve. It's the same one I knit before from the Knitty.com web site! So,
as soon as I finish that I'll add a picture of it as well. And maybe I should take down the block with the afghan squares.
. .except I do hope to work on that again and some day finish it!

Second Post of the Day!
Okay, I know I already posted once, but there are some neat things I've found on the web that I just had to share. Okay,
most of you have probably seen these sites, but just in case. . .
First, there is the Muppets Quiz I decided to take. Okay, that wasn't first, it came from one of the sites I was reading,
but it's the first thing I'm going to post!

Second, I've been having a lot of fun listening to the various podcasts out there. There is. . . my favorite
video podcast Daily Planet TVThen there are a couple of funny regular podcasts. . . Chub Creek Which I found from my knitting podcast, which I'll get to later. Nobody Likes OnionsAnd then there are the ones I just enjoy because of the content. . . Cast-On Brenda Dayne has a wonderful voice and I just love listening to her talk about knitting - or talking about whatever is going
on in her life at the time! Behind the Bar ShowAs a matter of fact, I should put these on my links site as well! Oh, I can't forget the last link I found
from when Dave from Chub Creek did the Cast-On podcast. It's The Sexy Knitters Club blog! Yes, I'm having a bit of much needed fun tonight!! Maybe for good measure I should just post the picture of
my husband and myself at my *gasp* 40th birthday celebration: Yup, that's a mixed drink I'm holding. A margarita over the rocks, which was just okay. So, I gave that one
to my Mom and went back for a lemon-drop martini!! What can I say. . . It was my 40th!
More yarn!
Sunday I was able to spend a nice afternoon with my friend (hi Bev!) yarn shopping in Monrovia. The store itself is wonderful,
and I'm so glad they are open at least once a month on a Sunday. Bev bought me some lovely yarn for a shrug (which after looking
at the pattern, I'm not sure it's going to work for it - which bums me - but I think I have another pattern that will work.
. . I just need to check because the yarn is really nice) and I bought some ribbon to go on my scarf. It's kind of a pink,
okay it's really pink, but I think it will pick up nicely with the black, gray and maroon. And if not, I have the start of
yet another one! Oh, and did I mention that I ordered some yarn from Patternworks for both Bev and myself (we split the shipping
cost for one order - aren't we swift!) to do a summer sweater. I guess before I start that one though, I need to finish the
lap afghan and I want to start the shrug. Oh yeah, and I need to do a baby sweater. I'm sure I have some yarn in my stash
to make that. . . unless I want to take another trip to a yarn store. . .

Quick Update
Not too much to post this week. I've been really busy with school (tests, oral presentation due on Monday), trying to get
my running and gym in, doing some consulting work, and not to forget my big birthday is tomorrow!! I've been trying to do
everything I can ahead of time so I'm not doing work on my birthday, and I think I've managed to do that :-) So, after this
week, I should have more to post!
