Frogging
Well, I started what I thought would be a neat shawl, but the yarn is too big so it just looks chunky. Instead of trying to
finish it that way, I just think I'm going to frog it and save the yarn for something else. I still want to try the shawl,
so I'll have to write down the proper weight of the yarn and keep it with me for the next time I'm at a yarn store! In the
mean time, I still have one sweater I can start (if I find the pattern. . . I cleaned up my yarn area!), and I have a poncho
I want to start for a Christmas gift. Also, I saw some sock yarn used for a shawl and that looks really neat - so I think
I'm going to try that with some of the extra yarn sock I have!! We'll see. . .

Back from the wedding!
Not too much knitting going on. I'm still working on the shawl, slow as that is! But, here are some pictures from the

Getting ready to travel
I'm off today, getting ready to travel. . . but since we don't leave until the early morning, I have a bit of extra time!
So, besides doing laundry, and dishes, and packing. . . I'm playing just a bit on the computer :-) And, I found a personality

Quick Update
Well, I just have a quick update. I know it was a holiday weekend, but I spent a good part of it reading! But, I was able
to finish the one small cancer hat, so I'm glad I did that. I have some yarn and a pattern for yet another scarf with me today,
so I may start that. Plus, I pulled out some other yarn and a shawl pattern that I want to start, but I forgot to bring that!
Some time I'll start that sweater. . .
