A lot of projects!
Well, I've been working on a few projects now. . . and I seem to want to work on them all at the same time! So, last night
I would crochet a round of the doily. . .10 rows on my scarf. . . a few rows on my hat. . . then get up and pack a bit more
for the weekend trip. Then, start over again! I ended up making 4 rounds of the doily, over half done on the scarf, and just
a few rows of my hat. And I had wanted to read as well last night. . . but I had to go to bed at a decent time to get up and
do my long run this morning since I won't be able to do it this weekend. You know, I think if I just had a couple of days
off, I could catch up on all of this!!

Felted Hat
So, I finish one hat in some really neat, soft brown yarn (to match the scarf I'm still working on). It's a nice hat, good
for the cold, but not good for running. That's okay, since I have a nice wool hat that I've been using for running in the
cold mornings. Only, I thought it was washable wool, but it's not. It's now a really pretty, felted, too small hat :-/ But,
the weather is getting warmer and I've only needed a hat once since I shrunk it last weekend (and I borrowed the one I loaned
to Jim. . . ), so I think I'll be okay. I'll be able to finish my scarf, the doilies and then maybe go look at some more nice
wool (washable) yarn to make myself another running hat! Bummer, bummer, bummer.

More Needle Work
I was going to say more knitting, but I've also started to crochet again as well! My Mother asked me (with plenty of time)
to make a couple of doilies for her for Mother's Day. I thought I knew the size, and started on a really pretty round doilie
over the weekend. It's almost done. . . and of course that's when I look up her email with the size, and I have the wrong
size! She wants two oblong ones!! I'm not sure I'll be able to find the exact size she asked for, but I'm looking. . .
I also started on a new hat and scarf combination. It's out of a really pretty, thick yarn that my friend brought back for
me from a close-out sale last year. I have three hanks, and I thought that would be enough. I'm almost done with the hat,
but I'm starting on the second hank of yarn. Well, I'm winging it on the hat, so we'll see. But the yarn has such a nice feel
to it!
