Our Mission...Simply put...

The mission of the Stuntwomen's Association is this:
Provide an organization that is dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of its membership and the stunt community as a whole.
The execution of this mission statement is accomplished in many ways:
{short description of image} Health & Medical: Since its creation, the Stuntwomen's Association has been able to assist many of our fellow stunt performers and their families during injury or loss of life. Whether assisting in medical costs, providing family support or simply offering ride services, child care, etc., our Association has been able to be there when needed.
{short description of image} Peer Relations: Working closely with various stunt associations and Unions, we have been instrumental in helping develop policy which governs each of our careers in the stunt industry. We've been through protests, strikes, mergers...and are currently working diligently with the Unions, State Government and other below-the-line interests to get U.S. productions shooting in our own country again!
{short description of image}  Community Enhancement: Annually the Stuntwomen's Association hosts or participates in many fund raising events that offer entertainment and education to our communities, raise awareness of many issues such as AIDS, handicapped organizations and anti-drug campaigns and allow many in the community to get a "taste" of the adventure of being a stunt performer.
{short description of image} Career Enhancement: The Association offers its members a complete reporting of productions currently gearing up. Unlike many Unions, we want our people working!! To offer additional support, we also participate in and host numerous social events, promoting the sharing of news, opportunities and a "networking" environment for our members, as well as just good fun!

This is our mission. This is what we do. With the help of people in the community and the diligence of our growing membership, we have been able to offer outstanding support to the community and, take care of our own.
