Since its fruition in 1967... The Stuntwomen's Association of Motion Pictures has been an important partner to stunt women and to the stunt industry as a whole. In these past 23 years, the stunt industry has grown by leaps and bounds. Today, being a stuntperson is safer, more exciting and more lucrative a career option than ever before. But, accidents happen. And this is one of the greatest facets of our Association. Since we are, and always have been, a non-profit organization, all funds received via donations, events, or dues goes directly back into supporting our membership in time of need. We have been able to offer wonderful support, both emotionally and financially, to our fellow stuntwomen who have been injured or disabled. In the lean times, we assist in job scouting via up-to-date production lists, additional stunt training, and above all, fellowship. Please take the time to browse around.
