Selected Vancouver Projects continued: House and Art Works (1970 - 1983)
Our related projects in Vancouver include the transformation of a wood-frame house incorporating 'outdoor rooms' and sky-viewing spaces within a single elevated timber and glass shell animated by movable slatted screens. Ideas about 'lattice' and counterpoint, colour energies and structural patterns in nature find expression in the art research projects Jumping Beans and Tide Scanner. Similar ideas were synthesized in the mobile Montessori Play Equipment.
