Note: clicking on the numbers above does nothing - damage pictures it refers to are on the NWS site from which I grabbed this graphic.
The eastern end of the above tornado track appears to nearly coincide with the western end of the below tornado track. They may be the same tornado. The below map is zoomed more than the above map - the yellow highway line in the northeast corner above that doesn't quite intersect Route 24 is Route 67, so Rushville is just barely off the edge of the map. Brown County is in the St. Louis, MO NWS office's area of responsibility while Schuyler County is in the Lincoln, IL office's area, and the damage surveys were performed independently by each office for counties in their area.

Symbols below are explained back on the main page. Note that the tornado track crosses Stephen and Todd's path near the northernmost car icon below, which is close to the arrow corresponding the large circled numeral "1" in the top map. At this location, we encountered downed power lines, trees sheared off, and damaged fences (tornado passed through a while before we arrived there).

(below) All of the tornado tracks in the Lincoln (ILX) NWS office County Warning Area. The South Pekin tornado occured after dark and was rated F3.
