Outreach
St. Martin's Bell Tower
Parishioners at St. Martin's reach out to the community, nation and world in a variety of ways. Individual parishioners donate their time and talent to many local programs that meet basic human needs. Ten percent of our pledge income is designated for various outreach projects, including the following:
- Habitat for Humanity
- Upper Valley Hospice and Visiting Nurses
- Red Stocking
- Episcopal Relief and Development
- Brookhaven Home for Boys
- Rock Point Summer Conferences
- CHABA (Children Affected by HIV-AIDS in Africa)
- Partners in Service
On the first Sunday of each month we have an ingathering of food donations for local food shelves and donations of snacks for local elementary school children.
Since the fall of 2005, after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we have supported several agencies that are doing rebuilding work in the Gulf Coast.
