7 -- Pastor’s Message

I certainly remember the deeds of the Lord that I’ve experienced as pastor of St. Luke’s (since December 1988): blessings of weekly worship, healing services, Bible Study, teaching Confirmation, visiting and calling on members, making decisions with Church Council, choirs, the SLCW (St. Luke’s Church Women), the SLYG (St. Luke’s Youth Group), and so much more. In this remembering, Im very blessed, encouraged, and strengthened. God continues to bless us in countless ways!

St. Luke’s is a wonderful place to experience the presence and blessings of God. Even with foibles, eccentricities, and sin, God loves and forgives us by the cross of Christ. We believe that, centering all we are on Christ, God’s Holy Spirit always moves among us and within us.

And that’s Good News Amen!

Pastor Ralph J. Mineo

“I will remember the deeds of the Lord. Yes, I will remember your miracles of yesteryear. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.”

                       Psalm 77:11-12

This congregation has many stories to tell of the mighty deeds that God has been and is doing in our lives as the children of God, and as members of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

It’s important to us to take time to meditate on the actions of God, and give thanks and praise!
