Josephine Stahman's Shawl

This is the second shawl I knitted from Stahman's Shawls and Seaman's Scarves. Again, I used Henry's Attic 100% alpaca sportweight yarn, this time in natural chocolate brown. I used #6 needles for a firmer lace fabric, but if I were to knit this shawl all over again, I'd probably use #7 needles for a slightly looser fabric. This shawl was knitted during a good knitting month--I started on Christmas Day, 2002, and finished on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday (1/20/03).
