| Welcome to Steve-O's Blaze Foley website! Blaze Foley, an awesome
singer/songwriter known to boil his guitar strings and make Tin Foil Jewelry, was brutally
and senselessly murdered while trying to protect an elderly friend. Up to his
untimely death every second of his life was "performance art" whether he was on
stage at Tippitina's in New Orleans or the Austin Outhouse, recording in Muscle Shoals,
sitting on the back porch of an old fish camp with the friends he loved, or walking down
any street in any town, and it was all bound together with duct tape. I want to share as
much of his life, times and music with you and anyone you invite here as I can. If you
came here by accident, stay with me a while, I don't believe in accidents. My wish is for
this site to grow as other friends of Blaze's contribute (email). You can read funny tales about Blaze and
