Steve McVicker - Guitar and Vocals
Born in Boothbay Harbor, Maine Steve started playing professionally at the age
of 12. In the mid 70s he was the bassist for "Eclipse", a popular south Jersey cover band. In the late 70s Steve relocated
to Houston, Texas where he played bass for "Kickback" and "Radio Free Texas" Returning to New Jersey in the early 80s Steve
performed with Stormy Records recording artists "The Majik". After a 12 year break from music Steve returned to playing the
guitar for the progressive recording band "Mythology Bullfinch". Steve decided to create his own blues band and
invited some of the most talented local players along for the adventure. According to Steve..."The most frequent statement
that I hear from audience members of CFOV shows is "You guys look like you're having so much fun!" "That's what it's all about....fun.
Just because it's the blues doesn't mean that it's sad" I will play until it is no longer fun"
