Ernest Bott Jr., tenor and bass trombone, and Tamera Zona, piano performed Expressions for bass trombone and piano by Steve Matchett. Mr. Bott performs with the Acadian Wind Symphony in Lafayette, LA; the Rapides Symphony in Alexandria, LA; and the Lake Charles Symphony also in LA. Tamera Zona performs with the Red River Chorale and is active as an accompanist and teacher in Alexandria, LA.

HASSA Cello Ensemble Concert

A concert of cello ensemble music that featured the Fantasy Variations on "Scarborough Fair" for six cellos by Steve Matchett. Teacher members of the Houston Area Suzuki Strings Association (HASSA) presented a concert of music for cello ensembles. This was a free fundraising concert for the organization and donations were accepted. The performers are some of the top freelance cellists in the Houston area: Martha Lisle, Terri Matchett, Fran Koiner, Peter Kempter, Brady Lanier, and Beth El Montgomery, cellos; Steve Matchett, conductor.
