Southern Milkyway
The southern section of the Milkyway Galaxy is full of delicate structure and object of interest. The brightest stars include Altair to the bottom left (in the constellation Aquila) and the teapot of Sagitarius is to the lower right. Several popular red emission nebula are sprinkled throughout the brightest sections to the right where the center of the galaxy is located. The dark nebula provide particularly unusual patterns and make for interesting objects to photograph as well. |
