NGC1977 - The Running Man Nebula

 

     NGC1977 has many names.  I actually like "Dancing Eagle" better.  This nebula consists of a  sparse open star cluster with some faint reflection nebula surrounding them and is found just north of the Orion Nebula.

Comments: Fair seeing.  Guided poorly.  A3s to A8s on ST-4.  Much more detail than previous 60 min. shot on unhypered film.
