M42 - The Great Nebula of Orion
The Orion Nebula or "Great Nebula of Orion" is aptly named and easily spotted in the sword of the constellation Orion. This emission nebula is the brightest nebula in the northern hemisphere extending 30 light years and is 1,500 light years away. |

Comments: Fair seeing. Guided not very good. A4s to AEs on ST-4. Much more detail than previous 45 min. shot on unhypered film. Should've gone 90 and masked in a second shorter shot for central core details. |
