M24 - The Small Sagitaruis Star Cloud

 

     M24 is a beautiful and unusual star cloud in the southern constellation Sagitarius.  This cloud is a detatched portion of the Milky Way galaxy and is two or three times the breadth of the full Moon.  It also contains two dark nebulas just above and right of center named B93 and B92 respectively.
