M1 - The Crab Nebula

 

     M1 (NGC1952) is an interesting gaseous remnant of a supernova star explosion in the year 1054.  It lies about 6,000 light years away and can be found very near one of the brighter stars in the constellation Taurus.

Comments: Average seeing but some high clouds moved in and object was low on horizon.  No wind.  Guided well.
