Double Cluster & IC1805/IC1848
The pair of open star cluster upper left of center are the famous "Double Cluster of Perseus". These are wonderful to view in binocular or any telescope with at least a 1/2 degree field of view. The 2 red emission nebula below are IC1805 (The Heart Nebula) and IC1848 (sometimes called The Baby Nebula) and are a little hard to imagine in this view. |
