Compare Mina K. Goddard's painting of Straight Wharf in Nantucket (ca. 1885-1890) (full scale) with contemporaneous photo
	Probably Straight Wharf, Nantucket, Mass. Note the whale weathervane and the "Ice" painted on the end of the red & white shed. The painting is very similar to the photo below, a testament not only to Goddard's meticulousness but also to the "Motif #1" nature of the scene.
