It's gonna be a girl!

Our infertility journey has almost come to an end. Over Thanksgiving week (2002), we did IVF (invitro-fertilization). Our prayers were answered, and two days before Justin's birthday, we found out that we were expecting.

As of today (3/27/03), I'm almost 20 weeks. We are finally relaxing and enjoying being pregnant. The morning sickness is practically gone. Justin has had some sympathetic nausea which is very sweet!

We are going to name her "Laura Ann" after the following people in our families: Anna (Ann) Laura Hughes Bradley Newton, Lura Strickler Struby, Laura Frances Crow Bradley, Laura Mattie Marcum Hughes, my cousin Laura, my aunt Shirley (Ann), and me (Stephanie Ann). LOL! Can you tell that I do genealogy?

The estimated due date is August 23, 2003. It's right smack in the middle of hurricane season so this will be really fun! We are just glad that it's not during quarter-end (for Justin's work). I'll have to find out if it's during football season since the hospital is near Reliant Stadium (home of the Houston Texans).

Justin and I would like to thank our family and friends for supporting us during our journey. We have been so lucky to have loving families and compassionate friends. It's been a very tough road. You have been there for us when times got bad, and we hope you rejoice with us in our good news.
