 November was the
annual Supergirl competion held by TransLiving a UK
support group who are based in Chelmsford, Essex. Its
quite a lively monthly meeting there with lots of girls
and partners. Anyway this year I decided it was time I
entered the Supergirl competition. The real problem of
course was what to wear. I narrowed it down to two
choices , my blue sequinned dress which I'd bought from
The Dressing Room , very stylish. I wore this when I was
crowned Queen at the Blue Banana Club and always
attracted admiring glances. The other choice was a lovely
black fitted dress with fuscia pink trim. After much
debate I decided to go with the black dress. The judging
was quite a trial, after each parade the numbers still
left in the competion reduced till finally there were
just 6 of us left. When the final selection was announced
I'd come 3rd ! and I felt very pleased with my self
having beaten 30+ other girls. However, next year I
intend to win . Maybe I'll wear the blue sequins next
time :).  |
