My name is Robert Steinhaus, and this web page is meant to set the record straight on various postings I made in Usenet groups and a petition site between 1999 and 2003 concerning the spiritual master Sant Thakar Singh.

It is my desire and intent to retract all of those writings which might shed any suggestion of negative light on the reputation of Sant Thakar Singh and his organization Know Thyself as Soul. I deeply regret having published what I wrote, which could have been understood as defamatory towards the Master. It was a period of personal difficulty for me, and my actions to publish what I did were regrettable and do not reflect my true appreciation and admiration towards Sant Thakar Singh.

In my experience with Sant Thakar Singh from my first encounter with him and his organization in 1983 until his earthly passing in 2005, in every instance that I saw him in person, his behavior towards every man, woman, and child was beyond exemplary—it was truly saintly. There was never any hint of anything but the highest standard of polite, loving behavior towards me and towards everyone else I saw him interact with. His sincere care and concern for his fellow human beings was abundantly apparent in everything he did.
