Winter, 2005. I invited
these new friends in the Yucatan to share their thoughts & wisdom about 2012 & the Mayan Calendar.
What I already knew was that a long cycle of one of the Mayan Calendars will end on Winter Solstice 2012. My quest
was to go further into the significance of this event. With their generous contributions we enthusiastically began
a 7~year video project, entitled "MAYAN PATHWAY TO 2012". Many people today
would agree that we're on the verge of a new era for Earth. The ancient Mayan Calendar is like an alarm clock set to awaken
us from a terrible nightmare where the natural world is being ruthlessly & rampantly destroyed.

The Maya developed mathematical, chronological & astronomical
knowledge to a high level, as reflected in their temple complexes. Their knowledge is a result of thier own sacred conceptions
of the future. Time is cyclical. The universe is not a static and immovable reality, but a movement that gives
beings the capacity to evolve.
