Blue-eyed grass
normally looks like a little dark green clump
of grass but when it blooms these little blue flowers sit all around the perimeter of the circle.
After this little plant goes to seed, its fanlike
foliage can be cut back.

Berkeley Sedge is growing in the
front building planter box and in the border areas of the courtyard as depicted here.

This is Coyote Mint. They produce wonderful
little purple puffs in springtime. After blooming is complete in early summer, it may look ragged and worn from summer
through fall, but will quickly leaf out with fall rains and cooler temperatures!
| Coyote Mint is less than one foot tall |

|
| and two feet wide. |
