Catalina Silver Lace grows in 2 ft. high, 4 ft.
wide bushes. We have two plants located in direct sun. They are surprisingly hearty and bug resistant
with rubbery, lacy white foliage. Flowers are beginning to form in late Spring. Close up of the Catalina Lace blossom

Canyon Silver Island Snowflake
AKA: Catalina Silver Lace
Eriophyllum nevinii or Canyon Silver island snowflake has beautiful
lacy off-white leaves.
Butterflies and bees love its heavy flowers. It is a highlight in the garden.

This is a Yucca
Hopefully a smaller one.
We just put this yucca in because a
couple spots in the yard are somewhat toxic and plants die.
Maybe the Yucca can make it.

Canyon Grey
The Canyon Grey sage is a ground cover-type
of sage.
It looks indestructable but we had
a severe cold snap in February 2007 that nearly did it in. When one thinks of drought-resistant,
native plants it is almost always the first one that comes to mind. The color is a beautiful bluish-grey
and the foliage is almost frothy. Snip the center, vertical shoot in order to keep it low to the ground.
