This pictures the northwest, sunny courtyard section with the California lilac in back
and the fast-growing, yellow flowered Indian Mallow to the right. Pinching and pruning can improve the shape and
appearance of the plant. Removing spent flowers lengthens the flowering period. Gray-green leaves indicate adequate
watering. Silver-gray indicates dry soil, but will survive.

The California Bricklebush is a thick, compact bush.
The four we have will flower in the fall, so we will still have color
in that season. Also, I have read that the flowers will produce a scent that can be sensed up to 300 ft. away!
They have sticky leaves and are such rapid growers!
| This grows like crazy with minimal watering. |
