The second ultrasound came on June 20, 2003, at about 17 weeks. Unfortunately, this ultrasound machine wasn't 3D-capable,
so we had to settle for these 2D images. (That's sooo '90's...)
And unfortunately, the tech didn't give us any of the better pictures, that show Sprout's profile -- only various pictures
that show various limbs and cross-sections.
And unfortunately, Sprout is a bit shy (or stubborn?), and wouldn't uncross his/her legs, and reveal to the world if
he/she is a boy or a girl! ...Not even out of the womb, and already causing trouble...
But, FORTUNATELY, everything that the doctor wanted to see was seen. All parts are intact, and growing normally.
Heart, complete with four chambers, is beating away. Sprout was quite active that day, and even waved at us a few times!
