We were lucky enough to be able to have a 3D ultrasound done when Misti was only 7 weeks pregnant. At that time,
Sprout was approximately the size of a tic-tac, but there was very clearly already a beating heart!
The first two pictures are the 3D ultrasound. The blob on the left side is Sprout, facing towards the left.
The blob on the right side is the yolk sack.
The final two pictures are from the 2D ultrasound. The first of these two shows the trace where they detected the
heartbeat -- 165 beats per minute!
