The Labyrinth of the Spirit was influenced by the research of Robert Sternberg, reading about Edgar Cayce, the teachings of  Marshall Rosenberg, the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg, and "A Course in Miracles®*." The recent spiritual teachings of Eckhart Tolle have had great effect.
Long ago, while researching the topic that became the Labyrinth in the Orange, California Public Library, a book fell off a shelf onto the floor. I picked it up. By Robert Sternberg of Yale, it was "The Triarchic Mind: A New Theory of Human Intelligence."
It was so related to the topic that I ignored the one I was looking for, because this book was much more apt. Sternberg's book was a result of his research into how people behaved, characteristic error behavior, and how thought is related to behavior. The ideas presented there evolved into the Labyrinth of the Spirit
