James 1:26 says: "If any among you seem to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceiving his own heart, this man's religion is vain…"
"Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity; so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell … But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison" … James 3:5-6,8
When God's Word is conceived in your heart, then formed by your tongue, and spoken out of your own mouth, it becomes a spiritual force that releases the ability of God that is within you.
That's why Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ which strengths me" … Philippians 4:13. His heart (spirit) had received God's Word. It was not Paul's ability that made him say that, but the ability of God formed in him by the Word, and therefore, out of the abundance of his heart his mouth spoke.
You and I can do the same. We can release all the power of God for our individual lives through our mouths. The most powerful instrument known to man, is the human tongue.
