Well, our little Spenser seems to have "flown the coop" and hasn't been seen for the past five days.  He had been spending most of his time with three other young scrub jays and they're ALL gone, so I'm assuming they're off somewhere together.

 

I know this is what was SUPPOSED to happen if I did everything right, but I still miss the little guy.  He was so much fun and had SUCH a personality.  My days at work just aren't the same without him landing on my window sill and tapping on the window to say hello several times a day.

 

Wherever he is, I hope he's safe and doing well.  I've left his cage hanging in the tree and keep his food bowl filled in case he decides to stop by.  If he comes back for a visit, I'll definitely get some new pictures and update his site.

 

I hope you've enjoyed watching Spenser grow up... I certainly enjoyed my time with him!
