The long and the short of it is: you want to perform at a higher level than you can right now.
Even the most experienced riders can have difficulty with goal setting and developing a safe, structured training
plan. They require the help of a knowledgable, unbiased observer.
The information is already out there, but you don't want to while away precious training time doing research. A
coach is often an invaluable resource in providing direction and motivation to improve performance as well as flattening
the learning curve.
Cycling coaches are often former racers themselves. Their personal experience base coupled with specialized education
and training can save years of frustrating trial and error in determining what works best for you.
My programs are not "cookie cutter" style programs. Each athlete is different, so each program should be different. My
programs are individually customized to the rider's physiologic attributes and time constraints in order to maximize
the results of the athlete's hard work and available resources.
