About Us

Fair Fields Gundogs
On December 9, 1800, the Northwest Territory government authorized the creation of Fairfield County. Residents named the county after the area's "fair fields."

Our family has been born and raised in Fairfield County.  Central Ohio has some very special people and great places.  We felt naming our kennel after this great county was a fitting tribute.

We are located in Sugar Grove, Ohio.  We have access to over 500 acres of private land for exercising and training our dogs.  We have pigeons on hand for training.  We also have access to public grounds that include Zaleski State Forest, Wayne National Forest, Rushcreek Watershed, and Wheeling Rd. Watershed.  All of these sites are within an hour of our home and provide us with access to thousands of acres.  We spend every chance we get chasing Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock through the Ohio woodlands.

I am lucky to have a schedule which allows the time needed to raise, train and hunt birddogs.  However, most of our time is family time with the kids and the dogs.

We are pround members of the Fairfield County Ohio Bird Dog Club and new members of the Mid-Ohio and Appalachian Valley NAVHDA Chapters.

Thank you for your interest in our dogs and family.  Feel free to contact us at 740-746-0225 or via email.
