Care to join us?
As a volunteer-driven organization, without any overhead to speak of, our budget is about as lean and mean as they come. Our
annual budget is around $2500, which we use to place artists in our schools to work with teachers and their students, and
for our all-school Samba Skate. Thanks to grants from the Allen Foundation, Wizards of the Coast and the Community Foundation
of South Puget Sound, we have created an extensive instrument library, which is used over and over again by students.
We also try to get some of the best artists in the Puget Sound area in to the classrooms, to work directly with teachers and
students. We need to be able to pay these talented people what they're worth.
