2006 Reunion
Our 4th Annual Reunion was a success. Even with the hot, hot weather, adopters, volunteers, supporters and Dals got together to have fun. We
had guests this year that helped with the success of the reunion. We had Dr.
Ron Beatty from My Pet’s Vet and animal behaviorist, Katie Schoelpke, Certified Animal Behaviorist. Hopefully, they were taken advantage of for medical and behavioral questions. We also had Carolyn Zych, a professional photographer, who took pictures throughout the day.

HENRY IS ADOPTED
I have great news for everyone. Henry went to his forever home today. His new family has two
kids and a nice fenced yard in MN. They drove down yesterday and met Henry last night. After two hours, they went
off to their hotel and returned back here this morning to take him home.
Henry really loved them and jumped right into their car for the long ride home. They made up a bed
for him in the back, but he spent half the time sitting between the two kids. I have attached two pictures, and I'm
sure we will get lots more in the next week as he greets his new neighborhood full of dogs. We are just so happy for
Henry and we are going to miss his happy smiling face.

Results from the Muskego Pet Fair on May 20th
We were at the Muskego Pet Fair May 20th. Diana and I want to thank Curtis and Bob for
working the booth all day. They helped us alot, especially, setting up and taking down. Bob brought Breckin, who was
wonderful as usual. Curtis brought Nick, who was an adorable, sweet and calm dal. They definitely brought
people to the booth. As it was the first time we were there we don't know if the amount of people was the usual.
We made about $80 selling items and are supposed to get a percentage of the overall profits from the fair.

Henry had surgery
Henry had a massive stone removed from his bladder on Wednesday and he has recovered and is doing great.
In fact, he was feeling really good on Wed night already. It seemed as if he was feeling better than before the major
surgery. The stone took up almost 3/4 of his bladder. No wonder why he had so much blood in his urine and was
having accidents in his crate. Poor guy!
I guess Dr. Wendy forgot to tell him that he needs to take it easy for the next week. He has been
jumping over my dog gate and doesn't seem to feel any pain. He is going to need to eat Science Diet U/D for the rest
of his life, which is a bit expensive, but maybe we could work something out with any adopters.
He is going off now to his new foster home, (which is thinking of adopting him). I'm leaving for
vacation in the morning so I'm glad that Henry is feeling better and we have found out what was wrong with him this whole
time.
We do need to keep in mind that Henry's medical bills aren't finished yet and he is over $1400 at this
point. Good thing that we do fundraisers. We also decided to ask for donations on his PetFinder listing and will
be putting up something on our website also. It doesn't hurt to ask.
