What happens to the birds after they are released?

After the birds are released they may circle the release site several times as a group. Their white feathers catch the sunlight and they appear to glow as they bank and turn. Our birds are actually white homing pigeons, an old breed related to Rock Doves. Their exceptional senses of hearing, sight and the ability to navigate using magnetic fields enable them to wing their way home from great distances. They love to fly and often they are home before we are.
