On Sunday, October 15th, Annie Lynsen will be leading Adult Sunday School talking about additional ways we can be advocates. One of the things Annie will focus on is the ONE Lutheran Campaign.

On Sunday, October 15th Pat, Scott, and Carrie Young are hosting a ONE House Party from 2 - 6 p.m. The House Party is part of the ONE Campaign. The House Party is intended to educate people about poverty and make people aware of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). We will gather to visit, but to also call our candidates campaign's offices to find out what they have done and what they plan to do to support the fight against poverty. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome! Bring your family and friends!

On Sunday, October 15th, Solor will be participating in the STAND UP event. STAND UP is an exciting and innovative challenge to set an official Guinness World Record for the most number of people ever to STAND UP for a cause. STAND UP will raise awareness of global poverty and the Millennium Development Goals to address extreme poverty, hunger and disease. STAND UP will publicly demonstrate the growing global support for the achievement of these goals. STAND UP is part of the ONE Campaign.
