                                                             Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day is a worldwide event that allows the public to communicate with members of the military, veterans, and support groups in a live forum, so that messages of appreciation and thanks can be exchanged.  ARMAD is an event associated with National Military Appreciation Month, and always falls on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

   Amateur Radio Christian Fellowship Day: fourth Sunday in September.  Golden Corral Military Appreciation Monday: Always on the Monday following Veteran’s Day in November.
