Neutral Alignment, 1st Quest (Level 10)

To complete this quest, you will need the following:

You must be at least level 10.
A party of at least four or five level 10s is great! If you are a sneaker, you may be able to sneak the whole way on your own. A level 25 would be able to handle this quest on their own with no problem, so if you can get a higher level to help you, then don't hesitate! Multiple people may complete this quest at the same time!
A rope and grapple.
A map of Silvermere, Darkwood Forest, Rocky Trail, Slums, and Dragontooth Hills. If you have MegaMUD, you will not need a map!

Completing this quest will give you 150,000 experience points and a black and white serpent ring (awesome ring!). This quest will take the experienced player about 60 minutes to complete after you get the proper items, mostly due to travel time.

NOTE: All 1st alignment questors have different beginnings and endings, but they must all go to Commander Markus at some point! If you need help, ask some questors of other alignments to join you to get to Commander Markus. If you are questing evil, you will have to kill Commander Markus to complete your quest! Only one evil person may do this at a time, however you will need the assistance of other evil alignment players to kill him! If good or neutral players attack Commander Markus, it will lower their alignment and screw up their quest! If you are questing evil, MAKE SURE the other questors get to talk to Commander Markus BEFORE YOU KILL HIM!

Once you have the above items, you may start your quest. Have all questors go to the Hooded Traveller:
s, 2e from Town Square
GREET HOODED
ASK HOODED QUEST

Have all questors go to Jorah in Darkwood Forest at the Blue Tower:
GREET JORAH
ASK JORAH GREY LORD
ASK JORAH TRANSPORT

He will transport you to the Floating Citadel, where the Grey Lord resides. Any time you need to reach the Grey Lord, you may go to Jorah and ASK JORAH TRANSPORT.

Head north to the Grey Lord. You will have to bash a door to get there:
GREET GREY
ASK GREY CODE WORD
ASK GREY TELEPORT

When you ask him code word, he will give you the code word FESTUS to pass on to Commander Markus. When you ask him TELEPORT, he will return you to Town Square. I believe in the newer versions of MajorMUD, he will automatically transport you back to Town Square when you ask him CODE WORD, so it's not necessary to ask him TELEPORT.

Now head to Commander Markus in Dragontooth Hills:
GREET MARKUS
ASK MARKUS FESTUS

He gives you a box that will NOT appear in your inventory. Go all the way back to the Grey Lord via Jorah:
ASK GREY BOX

He gives you ANOTHER box that will NOT appear in your inventory. Go to Chancellor Annora on the Rocky Trail:
ASK ANNORA FESTUS

Finally, go back to the Grey Lord via Jorah:
ASK GREY RETURN

Congratulations! You will get 150,000 experience and a black serpent ring!
