Good Alignment, 3rd Quest (Level 30)
To complete this quest, you will need the following:
- You must be at least level 30. Several people may complete this quest at one time, however every one will need a Spirit Dagger of Goijar and you can only make one of these daggers every three hours! This dagger is REQUIRED to hit the monster Gulgulthra, and his death is an essential part of this quest! The questor(s) may also make extra daggers for any higher level characters that may be coming along to help them fight, even if the higher level characters have already done the quest!
- A party of at least four level 30s, including a couple warrior types that hit hard and have decent AC! A level 60 would be able to kill Gulgulthra on their own (with the dagger) fairly easily! Healers are great to have for this one.
- A rope and grapple.
- A mine pass from the Miner's Guild at Khazarad. Cost is roughly 2 platinum.
- A map of Darkwood Forest, Rocky Trail, Misty Valley/Swamp, Gnome Village, Khazarad, Dwarven Mines, Slums, Dragontooth Hills. If you have MegaMUD, you will not need a map!
Completing this quest will give you 7,500,000 experience and a chest packed full of items! This quest may take several days to do, depending on how often you are able to get your daggers made!
NOTE: If there is a higher level player in the game that has extra Spirit Daggers of Goijar, then get them! It will cut your preparation time down!
Once you have the above items, you may start your quest. Have all questors go to Chancellor Annora:

Form your party and head over to Khazarad. Go to the Dwarven King:

Go to Master Smith Martok (NOT Martok's Battered Breastplate!!!):

Go to the Gnome Enchantress in the Gnome Village:

At this point, you will be ready to create daggers. The Metallic Monstrosity and Spectral Knight regenerate every three hours! Every person in the party needs a Spirit Dagger of Goijar equipped to be able to fight Gulgulthra! It's a crappy weapon, but it's the only way you'll be able to even combat him, unless you are a Mystic. If you are a Mystic, then JUMPKICK will hit him and deal lots of damage!
SPIRIT DAGGER OF GOIJAR CREATION (every 3 hours)
You may only do this every 3 hours. I believe that every person who is attempting to complete the quest must complete at least one dagger before continuing the quest. If someone is coming along to help you fight that has already done the quest, they DO NOT NEED TO and ARE NOT ABLE TO make a dagger. However, they may help you fight the bosses required for the dagger's creation. You or another questor must make a dagger for them to help you kill Gulgulthra.
Head to the Smoking Crater in Dragontooth Hills. Locate and kill the metallic monstrosity. He drops a gleaming shard. Have the questor pick up the shard. Go back to Master Smith Martok in Khazarad:
ASK MARTOK FORGE
He will forge the gleaming shard into a plain gleaming dagger. Now head back to the Gnome Enchantress in the Gnome Village:
ASK ENCHANTRESS DAGGER
ASK ENCHANTRESS ENCHANT
She will turn the gleaming dagger into an enchanted dagger. Now head to the Spectral Knight out past the Silvermere Graveyard. You may have assistance from anyone in the game to kill the Spectral Knight. You DO NOT need to kill him with the enchanted dagger. Any magic 3 weapon will hit him. You simply need to kill him with the enchanted dagger in your inventory!
Upon the death of the Spectral Knight, the enchanted dagger will absorb his spirit and turn in to Spirit Dagger of Goijar!
Once everyone who is going to kill Gulgulthra has a Spirit Dagger of Goijar in their inventory, head down in to the Dwarven Mines of Khazarad. Locate Gulgulthra in the Mithril Mines. Before entering his room, everyone MUST EQUIP the Spirit Dagger of Goijar! Everyone who has MegaMUD needs to temporarily change their weapon under their Combat tab to reflect this dagger. If you do not do this, then MegaMUD will re-equip your normal weapon before attacking Gulgulthra, and it will keep telling you "Your weapon has no effect against this monster!"
Once Gulgulthra is killed, his spirit will become trapped in the Spirit Dagger of Goijar, and the dagger will disappear from your inventory! You may now re-equip your usual weapon, and set it back in your Combat tab of MegaMUD.
Return to the Dwarven King:
ASK KING RETURN
When you do this, he will give you your quest chest! This is full of items, some of them completely useless, and some of them valuable!
Return to Chancellor Annora:
ASK ANNORA SUCCESS
Congratulations! You will get 7,500,000 experience from Annora and the quest chest from the Dwarven King! This quest takes a lot of time, but the results make it worth it!
