Mage Spell Quest (Level 45)
To complete this quest, you will need the following:
- You must be level 45 and a mage.
- A rope and grapple.
- A black star key. This can be found by killing Dark Cultists in the slums until one drops.
- A map of the Slums, the Cult House, the Hellhound Area under the Cult House, Fungus Forest, Darkwood Forest, Goblin Caves, Misty Valley/Swamp, and Northern Forests. If you have MegaMUD, you will not need a map!
Completing this quest will give you 0 experience and the magma blast spell.
Once you have the above items, you may start your quest. Form your party (if necessary/desired) and collect the following items:
- Pixie Wings (Pixie, 1% drop, Located in Northern Forests)
- Pulsating Heart (Thrag, 7% drop, Located in Darkwood Forest)
- Cyclops Eye (Cyclops, 15% drop, Located in Fungus Forest)
- Crocodile Fang (Crocodile, 1% drop, Located in Misty Valley/Swamp)
Once you have these items in your mage's inventory, take them to the Gnome Merchant in the Shallow Jungle. Talk to him, and he will give you the spell!
FOR THE WIZARD KNOCK SPELL:
Take the cauldron from the Night Hag's room in the Mossy Tunnels (3000 free encumbrance is required). Transport the Cauldron toe Seher'Sahham in the Sandbar at the Ocean. Talk to him to trade it for the wizard knock spell!
