Bishop Quest (Level 15)

To complete this quest, you will need the following:

You must be at least level 15.
A party of at least four or five level 15s, or one or two level 35+ characters to kill the Champion of Blood and Hellion for you! Only ONE person at a time may complete this quest!
A rope and grapple.
A black star key, which can be obtained by killing Dark Cultists in the slums until one drops.
A map of the Slums, the Black Cult House, Hellhounds area under the Cult House, Fungus Forest, Black Chasm, Serpentkin Village, Crystalline Tunnels, and the Black Fortress. If you have MegaMUD, you will not need a map!

Completing this quest will give you 750,000 experience points and two useless items (white satin gloves and jade amulet). For an experienced player, this quest takes about 30 to 40 minutes once you have the proper items!

Once you have the above items, you may start your quest. Form your party and head to the Black Fort way down underneath the cult house and past the fungus forest.

When you get to the black fort, locate the Master Assassin. Kill him. He drops a Skull Key. Pick this key up! Then locate the Dark Wizard. Kill him, he drops the runed key. Pick this key up! Locate the Dark Bishop. Kill him, and he drops the Cross Key. Pick this key up as well!

Now you should have THREE keys. The Skull Key, Cross Key, and Runed Key. Make your way to the Room of Change. Type PUT KEYS IN DEVICE. At this point, the game will take your three keys and spit a Dark Temple Key into your inventory.

Make your way to the Altar of Blood, where the Champion of Blood is located. The Dark Temple Key is used to open the door to the east that leads to the Altar of Blood. Kill the Champion of Blood. A Greater Hellion will spawn from his corpse, kill this monster as well! These are two very tough monsters for level 15s, which is why you want strength in numbers!

When you slay the Greater Hellion, he will drop a Golden Chalice and a Glowing Red Amulet. To get out of this two room, dead end area, you want to TOUCH ALTAR in the room labelled Altar of Blood.

This will make you blind and dizzy, like when you touch the high druid's gem. I believe casting cure blindness will cure this, as well!

The Glowing Red Amulet will open a door near the Dark Wizard's room that leads to a massive chest. This chest is usually full of nothing but worthless items, but they can be sold for cash! In order to USE GLOWING RED AMULET EAST to unlock the door to the treasure room, you must be wearing it around your neck!

Take the Golden Chalice back to Silvermere. From Town Square, head WEST until you come to the bishop in the temple. Type ASK BISHOP RETURN.

Congratulations! You will now have 750,000 more experience, and the two worthless items! The Champion of Blood respawns every 85 hours, and only one person at a time may hand in the chalice for the quest bonus. If you are in a multi person party and everyone is trying to get the quest done, you may have to come back several times during the next couple of weeks to satisfy everyone!
