Here you will find the voyages of the original Starship Enterprise NCC-1701 under
the command of Captain James T. Kirk. Star Trek, created by Gene Roddenberry,
had its original run on NBC-TV from 1966 to 1969 for a total of 79 episodes.
After its cancellation in 1969, instead of disappearing from sight, it had
amazing success in syndication. From this humble beginning was born several
Star Trek films and spin-off series.
