This is the first non-animated spin-off of the original Star Trek series. Also created by Gene Roddenberry, it was made-for-syndication and ran from 1987 to 1994, seven seasons, for a total of 178 episodes. At the conclusion of the series, we followed the crew of the Enterprise-D into three feature films to date, "Star Trek Generations", "Star Trek: First Contact" and "Star Trek: Insurrection, with a fourth in production.
This time, we find the Starship Enterprise 1701-D commanded by Captain Jean-Luc
Picard. CAST:
Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard
