Enterprise is the fifth installment in the Star Trek series. This incarnation is reported to take place 100 years before Captain Kirk and the original Star Trek. Since this is a prequel, the technology is all new and untried. The people on board the Enterprise NX-01 are young, bold and eager to see what's out there. In the words of James T. Kirk, they're ready to "Boldy go where no man has gone before."
